*cough* So, did you know the Dragon Cave had an individual dragon description function? *sheepish*
Still waiting to see if they'll be approved by the moderators to appear on my scroll but here are the descriptions for my four adult dragons. Part orgfic, part roleplay.

Vasascius
The city of Drekanos was founded upon the might of dragons. Vasacius' was the first egg its Priest-Mages obtained by their arts. They kept him in the catacombs beneath the city and, when grown, induced him to use his power to cause the stones to move. The soaring towers and vast, towering walls made Drekanos one of the wonders of the world. But, at last, Vasacius found the strength to rebel. Breaking the Priests bindings he slammed his tail down upon the ground and the earth shook. Many perished in the earthquake and the eternal city of Drekanos was shattered. Now the sun rises on a city empty of human life, where the broken towers still thrust themselves against the sky and jagged stone tears the drifting sea-mists to rags. Vasacius still bears the scars left by their chains across his scales. He makes his lair in the catacombs, refusing to relinquish the city he built, and his hatred for humans is immense. Other dragons, likewise freed by his actions, make their homes in the ruins.

Nicasia
Nicasia was the second dragon to be taken by the Priest-Mages of Drekanos. With their city growing by Visascius power the rulers feared attacks by other sea powers. A water dragon, Nicasia, was therefore bound to defend the city's port. She was kept imprisoned by mage-wrought chains stretched across the harbour bed.
On the day Visascius rebelled they were shattered by his earthquake; joyful, Nicasia surged out of the water causing an immense wave that drowned many of those attempting to flee and utterly destroyed Drekanos' fleet.
Now she roams through all the worlds' seas, glorying in the freedom that was denied to her. Even so she returns regularly to that hated harbour to share her discoveries with Visascius, who will always leave his catacombs to meet her.

Symeon
When the earth began to shake, Symeon knew what was happening in Drekanos at last. Distraught he, for the first time of his own free-will, permitted the ultimate indignity and allowed humans to climb upon his back and thus flew them beyond the buckling earth.
While the other dragons cavorted in the skies and sea, carolling their joy in their freedom, Symeon hunted through the unstable ruins, healing those few wounded he could find. He was the only dragon who, during his slavery, managed to form a kind of friendship with some humans. Despite their crimes he refuses to believe they all deserved death.
For these actions he is shunned by the other dragons of the city. Reserved and quiet he leads an almost nomadic existence among the ruins keeping no permanent lair. A trail of animal attendants made up of the city's abandoned pets, which he nursed back to health in the wake of the earthquake, follows him wherever he goes.

Paladia
When Paladia was first brought to Vasacius by the Priest-Mages the fury of the two dragons nearly collapsed the catacombs and succeeded in killing three priests.
Her egg had been taken some time after the citys founding when its wealth and power were flourishing. The Priests had come to believe that it would be much easier to breed dragons than to engage in the potentially hazardous task of snatching them from the wild. Paladia proved them wrong. Throughout all the mating seasons that occurred throughout her captivity she continued to fight ferociously. The Priests did not once succeed in breeding her, making hers the most successful resistance any dragon ever offered to their captors.
She now keeps her eyrie at the summit of the tallest standing tour in the city from which she can gaze for miles over human-empty lands. She is proud and can seem haughty, being very selective when it comes to choosing mates from among her many suitors. The meat most likely to win her favour is human.
