Christmas is coming! And Wii dilemma.

Been a weekend in which I seem to have done a lot without doing much.

The pre-Christmas scouring has begun. Which has meant I've spent the day buried up to shoulders in fridge and cuboards gingerly extracting various disgusting items and blasting the surface with cleaner. Sent off my first Christmas Amazon order (and cursed as I realised, too late, that I could have got one of the items at least a 50% cheaper.) Lights are up outside the house! In fact, everyone on the street seems to have decided this was the weekend to put the lights up.

Full week next week - Graduating on wednesday! And lycoris is coming to visit next weekend, which is full of yay.

I also find I am confronting a dilemma. I quite fancy buying a wii. I have fancied buying a wii for a long time. A look on ebay has revealed a LOT of consoles for sale, and a good chance of snapping up a bargain. However, a lot of those sellers give their reasons as 'was just gathering dust I/partner/dog never played the thing.' *bites nails in anguish* Anyone own a Wii? Any advice?

*raises hand* I got one for my birthday. It does go for some weeks without being touched, but then, I own a lot of fun things that I can ignore for a week and then have a rapid lot of fun playing on- mostly the reason I'm hampered is we only have one tv in the house and so if Mum's watching something/listening to the radio through it I can't very well go in and start playing on the Wii. All the same, it's an awful lot of fun and I'm hoping when the room is tidy and there aren't mountains of present boxes and Christmas Card lists on the floor it'll see some good use over the holidays :)

It's always terribly annoying when you realise you could have brought something cheaper else where. *mourns with you* *scolds life gently* Glad you have pretty lights though!

Well, just because they don't play it doesn't mean you won't. People have different reasons for not playing something. But I don't own one and don't want one so I don't know if you care for my advice! :)
