The thing about CLAMP is that they might make a mess of the overall plot(s), but the tiny details make so much sense. It's brain-breaking.

I know! You can construct some supremely elegant theory from the details, realise that something blatant contradicts it, give it up in disgust, and then be proven right anyway.

Hey, maybe Kaho and Yuuko have a drinking game. One sip if he happily smiles, two sips if he grins in a disturbing way. Two sips if he mentions hitsuzen. The whole bottle if he foreshadows the future events.
